A good spinning top for the purpose it’s created to be. This spinning top is perfect for time killing and practicing. A skilled adult could easily spin it for about 5-8 minutes on hard and smooth surface like a concave glass (video attached recorded 3 spins: 2x 8+ and 1x 7+). With CNC machined body, ceramic tip and perfect craftsmanship, this is a good choice for your daily toys. A perfect gift for everyone.

For this model, we provide a 3.15″ single concave base with -30cm focal length. After some exercises, a skilled adult could easily spin for 6-8 minutes on this base. To ensure portability we have to sacrifice the size of the base. You will have to practice some time before you can make a good spin on it. We also provide bigger base with double concave, you may have a try if you are serious on spinning top.

For now, the best record of it is 10’29”. Spin it over 10 minutes is relatively hard: it will need strength, skill and some luck. In over 600+ times of my former colleague’s tests (Jason, I miss you…), he only succeeded 2 times. Skill matters more than strength (otherwise The Mountain would be the spinning top champion in seven kingdoms). Practice repeatedly and pray your average spinning time will be longer.

★LONG SPINNING TIME: Average spinning time is about 5-8 minutes (on hard and smooth surface like a mirror/concave glass, video attached recorded 3 spins: 2x 8+ and 1x 7+); the best record for now is 10 minutes 29 seconds. Rumor says that if you can make it last 11 minutes, Genie of the spinning top will appear and grant you three wishes. I don’t know if it is true but you can have a try since it’s very affordable. Anyway, if performance is your main concern, this one definitely worth a try.
